What does D&I mean to you?
It means creating a space and a feeling of belonging for all to feel seen and appreciated for who they are – a real sense of equality for everyone.

What’s your passion area in diversity?
Empowering the next generation to feel valued and equipped with the right tools to excel in their careers, no matter what barriers they have faced and continue to rise up against.

What recent developments should we be celebrating in the diversity debate?
The continual support for a flexible working world, allowing for more individuals to thrive in work without needing to worry so much around financial constraints to commute into London everyday.

What is top of mind for 2024?
I am committed to expanding our growth at grassroots for all. I have crafted and championed our strategy alongside my day job and can’t wait to see what we achieve this year and beyond.

Which three words describe you best?
Caring, thoughtful, ambitious.

Who should be on the next iList?
Gemma Appleford, because without her continual cheerleading and support for those in the early careers space, I would not be where I am today.

D&I: MY STORY

My focus has been on supporting those starting their careers in the advertising industry so that they feel they have a space to thrive. I have created our Student Pipeline Strategy, an initiative aimed at targeting the next generation of talent in low socio-economic areas.

Whether this is through hosting insight days (virtually or in-person), working in partnership with our charity partners, or attending school and university fairs.
